Slagel and Walberg Referenced in Chicago Daily Law Bulletin

August 27, 2010

Allan T. Slagel and Kim R. Walberg, both shareholders in the firm’s Litigation Department, were referenced in the Chicago Daily Law Bulletin article entitled, “Procedures Set for Returning Money Seized upon an Arrest.”

The article appeared on August 25, 2010 and discussed the recent class-action lawsuit that accused Chicago police of placing roadblocks in the path of people trying to retrieve money that was seized from them when they were arrested. Slagel and Walberg represent the city of Chicago in the case. 

An experienced civil trial attorney, Allan focuses his practice on complex civil litigation including class actions, securities and derivative litigation and employment-related matters.

The Partnership for a Connected Illinois aims to ensure broadband Internet access for all Illinois residents and improve technol-ogy use in smaller communities, using Southern Illinois' Connect SI, which has pursued similar goals in the region, as a model for potential progress.

Saeedi Participates in “The Life of a Lawyer” ISBA Cable Program

The program will air on Tuesdays, August 17 and August 31 at 10 p.m. Illinois Law is an Illinois State Bar Association-run cable TV program that airs on Chicago Access Network, Channel 21.

Daniel focuses his practice on commercial litigation. He has litigation experience in a diverse range of state and federal matters, including municipal liability, constitutional litigation, breach of contract, fraud, fiduciary law, professional negligence, appellate, personal injury, and toxic torts disputes.
